With Vijay Venkatesh at the piano and Repper on the podium, this dynamic duo will delight you with Clara Schumann’s piano concerto. Friends since childhood, Venkatesh and Repper were neighbors and took piano lessons from the same teacher.

This free school day concert is offered to 3rd graders. The one-hour long program is a mix of Classical and Pops and will introduce students to all of the instruments in the orchestra. Seating is limited. Call 419-289-5115 for more information and to reserve seats.

This concert is sure to make you smile! “Drawing on American folk idioms and the spirit of dance and movement, [Strum] has a kind of narrative that begins with fleeting nostalgia and transforms into ecstatic celebration.” (Quote - Jessie Montgomery) The joy continues with Holberg Suite, a multi-movement piece that incorporates several dances and is one of strength, gentility, playfulness, and meditation.

Samuel Coleridge-Taylor is one of the greatest composers of the last several hundred years, and is not played nearly enough! We will change that! These Variations have been said to be one of his finest compositions, and they are based on an African folk hymn. Emotional and powerful, it is guaranteed to make you a fan of the composer if you aren’t already!
