Young People's Concert

The Young People‘s Concert is designed especially for Ashland’s up-and-coming music lovers! Both entertaining and educational, children and their families will be thrilled with the surround-sound that can only be experienced with a full orchestra. The ASO provides hands-on arts activities, including our famous instrument petting zoo, one-hour prior to the concert.

Friday, March 3 at noon at Robert M. & Janet L. Archer Auditorium

School Day Concert

Started in 2014 with a grant from the Ashland County Community Foundation, the School Day Concert is designed to introduce 3rd graders to the instruments and music of the orchestra. This program will inspire young people and encourage artistic development and exploration. Traditionally presented at noon on a Friday in March, this concert is free but reservations are required. Please contact the Ashland Symphony Orchestra to reserve space for your 3rd graders.

Schools may apply for transportation support through the Ohio Arts Council. https://www.oac.ohio.gov/Portals/0/grants/Guidelines/Big-Yellow-School-Bus.pdf
