Ring in the new year with festive music by Franz Joseph Haydn, Joan Tower, and George Gershwin! Bask in the joyous glow of the Parisian concert scene with Haydn’s Symphony No.83, “The Hen,” before being transported home to the USA for folk and jazz inspired music. The Ashland Symphony will perform Joan Tower’s Made in America, the composer’s epic fantasia on the tune “America the Beautiful,” before concluding with Gershwin’s famous Rhapsody in Blue. Music Director Candidate Michael Repper will conduct from the piano.
