Friends of the ASO

Formerly known as the Ashland Symphony Women’s League

The Ashland Symphony League was formed in 1972 to provide promotional support and funding to advance the mission of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra. In 1978 it became the Ashland Symphony Women’s League. Just as the ASO has evolved over the last 50 years, so too has the ASWL. In 2019 the group became the Friends of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra.

For half a century the ASWL members ushered at concerts, baked cookies for receptions, hosted pre-concert dinners, sponsored luncheons and fashion shows, held rummage sales and promoted subscription ticket sales. Special activities included luminary kit sales, home tours, luncheons and silent auctions, and countless other activities. Best known for Dazzle and the Spring Luncheon & Auction, the Friends of the ASO plan to continue that tradition with the Christmas Market and Spring Luncheon.

We invite you to support the efforts of the Friends of the ASO by becoming a member.

Just print and complete the membership form and return it with your check to the address listed on the form. Checks should be made payable to ASO. Or you may pay by credit card by calling 419-289-5115 or on-line.
