Welcome back to another season with the Ashland Symphony Orchestra! We are proud to celebrate the Symphony’s 40th anniversary of continuous music. The ASO has always been the cultural jewel of Ashland County, so we are calling the 2009-2010 concert season our Ruby Anniversary Season to celebrate this momentous occasion. We are pleased to present another diverse concert season spanning from Bach to Copland and from jazz to opera as well as to feature local guest artists, including violinist Julie Castor and clarinetist Thomas Reed.
The Ashland Symphony Orchestra has the distinction of being the smallest city in America with its own professional symphony orchestra. This is due to the steadfast support of individuals and businesses within our community. The ASO Board of Directors, staff and musicians thank you for your support and patronage and are excited to present to you another great season of music! We hope that you will take advantage of Ashland County’s cultural gem by becoming a season subscriber. Sincerely, Monica M. Stine Executive Director |
