Art 101 Gallery artists create collaborative piece for Ashland Symphony Orchestra

Art 101 Gallery is sponsoring a collaborative art piece by several of its artist members.  The 48” x 48” original multimedia art piece will be featured as the event artwork for the July 5th Ashland Symphony Orchestra performance, “Pops in the Park” to be held at the

Myers Memorial Band Shell.  The original will be displayed during the performance.

Come meet the participating artists and preview the original during the gallery's “First

Thursday” artists reception on July 2nd from 5:30 to 7:30.  Enjoy live music, wine &

hors d' oeuvres & experience the creativity in your community.  The event will additionally host the sponsors, board members & guests of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra and the Ashland Center Street Historic District.

The gallery is holding a silent auction for the original piece, with proceeds to benefit the Ashland Symphony Orchestra.  A 48” x 48” textured print will be raffled.  Visit the gallery through the month of July for an opportunity to win. 

Winners will be notified on July 31, 2009.
